A Daith piercing from last week!

Pierced using a 14g star grind from @isneedles Jewelry is a 14g circular barbell from @anatometalinc

One of the most common questions I get about this piercing is “Does it help with Headaches/Migraines?”
.
Short answer is no. Long answer is; There is no scientific data to cite about this piercing and supposed headache or migraine relief.
.
I’ve heard all sorts of anecdotal stuff from clients. Some have claimed it helps, others have noticed no change. I had a single case of someone claiming it made things worse, though to be fair their piercing was in very rough shape.

You should get a piercing because you like the look of it, not in hopes of some sort of miracle cure.
