Ear projects are a marathon, not a sprint.

This client has been getting piercings from me for something around 5-6 years now. Some of these piercings were already there, but a majority of what you see is done by me!

Piercings take a long time to heal, especially in cartilage! It’s best to go slow to ensure everything can heal properly, rather than loading your ear up and hoping for the best.

Your body only has so much energy it can commit to healing injury, the more you ask it to do the longer it all takes. I usually hard-cap clients around 3, maybe 4 healing piercings if we are keeping it to simple heals like the ear lobe.

I wish I had progress photos, but this was before I started trying to document almost every piercing I do.

Anyways, we added a new cartilage to the left ear. Using this awesome yellow gold tri linear cz prong from BVLA!

Thanks for looking, maybe reach out if you’re thinking of doing a cool project on your ears. I’d love to do something with a color theme. CZ is great; goes with everything, but I live for fancy colors.
